Feed a Viking Market Assistant – Student Life
Assist in daily operation of the Salem State Feed a Viking Market. Support students as they shop, and answer questions related to basic essential support options.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Open and/or close the market
- Manage front desk
- Check students in and out
- Support students in finding items
- Stock shelves
- Maintain inventory
- Other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications
- Computer skills (knowledge of MS Word and Excel)
- Good communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills
- Dependable
- Ability to take initiative
- Ability to work with the public
- Accuracy and attention to detail
- The student employee must be in good academic and conduct standing to be considered and employed at the market
- If you have work study, you may NOT work in any other work study position on campus, as work study can only be applied to one office.
