Podcasting Booth Technician – English
The Podcasting Booth Technician will be responsible for the day-to-day upkeep of the English Department Podcasting Booth as well as supporting students and other campus community members in their use of it.
Students must have Work Study for this position. Please contact Financial Aid if you are unsure if you qualify
Duties and Responsibilities
The Podcasting Booth Technician will
- Secure the audio and video recording equipment and keep an inventory.
- Keep the booth clean and in proper working order.
- Assist students and other campus community members with accessing the booth
- Assist students and other campus community members with using the booth and the audio and video recording equipment.
- Work with the English Department to ensure that policies are followed
Minimum Qualifications
The Podcasting Booth Technician should
- Have experience and facility with using technology and software
- Be organized
- Be responsible, to ensure the security of the booth and the associated equipment
- Be able to work independently after having been properly trained.
Experience and facility with using audio and/or video equipment and software is welcomed.
Wages
$15.00/hr
