SACNAS Office Aide – Biology
SACNAS (Society for Advancement of Chicanos/Hispanics and Native Americans in Science) is a multicultural organization that works to help Latinx and Native Americans succeed in STEM fields. In this position you would assist faculty member in setting up a SACNAS Chapter at Salem State University.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Help recruit students to the SSU SACNAS (Society for Advancement of Chicanos/Hispanics and Native Americans in Science) group
- Utilize the specific talents and knowledge for recruiting to the group
- Make recommendations to the group liaison.
- Communicate regularly with the liaison via written reports.
Minimum Qualifications
Knowledge of STEM (Science, Engineering, Technology and Math) and how it works in relationship to the workforce development.

$15.00/hr
