MCO Lab Aide – Media and Communication
Media and Communication Department is looking for additional support to help maintain the department's dedicated lab space and provide basic support to those who need it while they are using the equipment.
The Lab Aide's working hours would primarily take place in the Mac Lab (CC153) though occasionally there may be some overlapping work in Studio (CC148).

Duties and Responsibilities
- Monitor the Lab and use of its equipment during Open Lab Hours.
- Provide general support to MCO students working on the Lab iMacs.
- Assist students, staff, and/or Faculty who enter the Lab, answering questions about MCO Lab/Studio resources, policies and processes
- Escalate any questions, requests, or issues with the space and equipment as they arise.
- Perform other tasks and duties as needed by the Technologist.
Minimum Qualifications
MCO Majors and Minors are preferred, but this is not to say that students studying in other fields should not apply. If there is at least some overlap in what this role requires and the students current knowledge, special interests, or skills acquired it could be a great fit.
All applicants must be currently enrolled as a student at SSU for the 2026/2027 Academic Year and must be awarded Work Study funds through Financial Aid to be eligible for hire.

$15.00/hr
