Laboratory Technician Aide I – Biology
The Laboratory Technician Aide I will assist in the daily preparation and maintenance of the biology labs and prep rooms. Biology Majors preferred.
First or second-year students are strongly preferred, as the successful applicant may have the opportunity to remain in the position until graduation.
Duties and Responsibilities
Duties include washing glassware and other scientific equipment, cleaning and organizing biology department laboratories and prep rooms, and assisting lab technicians in the preparation of biology laboratory materials.
Minimum Qualifications
- First or second-year students strongly preferred.
- Biology majors preferred.
- Work-Study funding preferred.
- Ability to work well independently and in a team based environment.
- Excellent organizational and oral and written communication skills.
Wages
$15.00/hr
