Special Projects Coordinator – First Year Experience
The Office of Student Success and the First Year Experience is seeking students who will serve as special projects coordinators in the office, helping manage administrative projects related to initiatives within the area, coordinating outreach to students (calls, emails, social media campaigns, and mailings), tabling regarding initiatives, and providing support with a range of programs (from copying to hanging flyers to delivering materials across campus) and assisting in other projects as determined.
Some opportunities may be available to assist in programs/events outside of regularly scheduled weekly hours depending on availability (and shifting of hours for a particular week). Student staff represent the FYE office and university in a positive and professional manner while working in the office.

Duties and Responsibilities
Position responsibilities are as follows:
- Participate in all training and ongoing development sessions to gain a working understanding of office and campus resources, and a knowledge of how to find resources to refer guests to
- Complete projects as assigned, including organizing mailings, stuffing packets/packages, coordinating outreach to students, delivering items, and posting banners/flyers across campus
- Assist in providing administrative support to selected events on campus.
- Coordinate tabling on campus to provide information regarding programs/initiatives in the office.
- Answer questions and provide information regarding specific initiatives (after receiving training).
Minimum Qualifications
Strong critical thinking skills. Ability to operate independently while organizing projects. Ability to use (or learn) Microsoft Office Suite and social media platforms.
Wages
$15.25/hr
