Graduate Admissions Assistant, MSW - Summer – Graduate Admissions
GENERAL STATEMENT OF DUTIES:
The Graduate Admissions Assistant (MSW) supports the Admissions staff with all aspects of recruitment and enrollment of Salem State's MSW programs, including a strong emphasis on engagement with individual prospective students. Additionally, this role conducts research and analyzes data to improve existing admission practices and policies, including, but not limited to: recruitment events, application procedures, yield vs. melt, marketing materials, competitive analyses, and more.
Duties and Responsibilities

Assist in application maintenance for Salem State's MSW programs using our CRM systems (OnBase, Salesforce, PeopleSoft) to provide regular status updates to current applicants and field applicant queries via email and phone.

Research, assess, document, and present relevant competitive analysis data.

Meet with prospective students (in-person, by phone, and via email). Provide campus tours upon request.

Participate in all MSW recruitment events, as well as general Graduate Admission events (as appropriate).

Represent Salem State at college fairs and other events related to MSW recruitment, as needed.

Demonstrates sensitivity to students, faculty, and staff of varying racial, ethnic, religious, gender, cultural, disability, sexual orientation, and socioeconomic backgrounds.

Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications

Possess academic credentials and experiences suitable to fulfill the duties and responsibilities of the position.

Knowledge of, and familiarity with, computerized processing preferred.

Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Be admitted into SSU Graduate program

Be familiar with and abide by all university policies.

Abide by Departmental Academic Standards, which includes remaining in good academic standing and maintaining a minimum 2.75 cumulative and semester GPA.
Wages
$18.00/hr
