Inclusive Excellence Ambassador – Office of Inclusive Excellence
Join the Office of Inclusive Excellence (IE) team as an IE Ambassador, where you will support outreach and admissions initiatives, organize culturally affirming programs, and participate in key campus committees.
Our five undergraduate IE Ambassadors will engage in campus community activities such as tabling, open houses, heritage month events, and gathering student feedback to promote a diverse and inclusive campus environment.
This role offers a meaningful opportunity to contribute to Inclusive Excellence efforts while developing valuable leadership and collaboration skills.

Duties and Responsibilities
- Support tabling and outreach for IE/HSI-MSI
- Support initiatives related to admissions such as open houses, accepted students' day, etc.
- Collaborate with IE and admissions on culturally affirming programing including bilingual tours, presentations, and materials
- Assist with gathering and providing student feedback related to IE and HSI-MSI initiatives
- Serve on campus committees, i.e. Bias Response Team, MLK Campus Celebration, and provide support
- Support programming such as heritage months and observances
Minimum Qualifications
Requirements
- Eligible for work study per financial aid
- Attend weekly Ambassador meetings and provide project updates
- Work 7-10 hours a week
- Must maintain a GPA of 2.5 or higher
Preferred Qualifications
- Interested in contributing to a diverse campus climate
- Bilingual or multilingual skillset, preferably Spanish, Portuguese, Haitian Creole
Wages
$16.00/hr
