Research Assistant – Sport and Movement Science
This position involves serving as a research assistant for an ongoing project in the department of Sport & Movement Science on the SSU campus. Data collection for this project will primarily take place in the afternoon (2-6pm), but may occasionally involve data entry, coordination of supplies & equipment, and meetings at other times.
Duties and Responsibilities
Assisting with data collection, including safely administering exercise and heat protocols, managing data collection instruments, calibrating equipment, and recruiting & coordinating with potential research subjects.
Minimum Qualifications
Must be an exercise science student familiar with exercise testing and prescription, measurement techniques including blood pressure, temperature, heart rate, and perceptual scales. Must have CITI training and be eligible to be on an IRB protocol.
Wages
$15.00/hr
