Advancement Office Assistant – Advancement

The Advancement Office is looking for someone to assist the office in all aspects including data entry, maintaining alumni database, general office procedures, receiving and directing incoming calls/emails and participating in special projects as they arise within the department and other duties as assigned. This position will require a max of 20 hours per week. Ability to work remotely.

Duties and Responsibilities

-provides administrative support to various staff of the department and special projects as assigned.

-answering phone calls and emails

-filing

-data entry

-providing support on other duties and office work as assigned

Minimum Qualifications

  • Must be a current student.
  • Must be pleasant and be able to work independently.
  • Must possess excellent telephone manner.
  • Ability to work well with other staff members in a fast paced environment.
  • Skill set should include Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Database familiarity is a plus.
  • Fluency in internet and social media is key.
  • Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
  • The candidate must possess the ability to maintain a professional attitude and have the ability to multitask.

Wages

$14.50/hr
