Office Assistant I for Finance and Facilities – Finance and Facilities

Assists the staff associate in the vice president's office for finance and facilities in a special project requiring organization skills and attention to detail.

Duties and Responsibilities

1. Participates in a special project to reduce paper files.
2. Create electronic files using scanner equipment.
3. Creates/edits documents in Word, Excel and/or Power/Point.
4. Organizes office supplies.

Minimum Qualifications

1. Ability to organize materials and tasks in order to accomplish duties efficiently
2. Ability to operate a PC, utilizing MS Office software i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint
3. Must be able to pay attention to details
4. Ability to work with staff, students, vendors and general public
5. Knowledge of business office practices and procedures
