CIS Office Assistant – School of Education
The Community of Inclusive Scholars (CIS) of the School of Education seeks an organized, conscientious work-study student to assist with several administrative tasks. This position will work alongside the Education Program Coordinator in further developing the program and finding opportunities for students enrolled.
The student will be responsible for the following:
- Meeting with CIS students to encourage involvement on campus
- Assisting the Ed. Coordinator on the daily tasks of managing education assistants and students.
- Creating promotional strategies to inform campus community and future partnership districts about our program
Finding opportunities for program growth and communicating these to the coordinator.
Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently are a must. We are looking for students that are interested in enhancing their skills to develop programs and educational opportunities. As well as students that have strong communications skills, and are eager to learn more about the benefits of inclusion for special education students. Ideally students will have morning availability at least 2-3 days a week.
