Technical Aide III – Media and Communication

The Technical Aide III will manage both Media and Communication Labs, in the evening hours, located in CC148 and CC153. The TA III will assist the Staff Associate/Supervisor by performing administrator level software updates, address specific hardware issues, investigate and resolve any specific issues within the labs and troubleshoot the lab printer in CC148. The TA III will use their skills to assist other students and oversee other workstudy employees in the labs during the evening hours. The TA III will ensure that all equipment in the labs are functioning properly.

The positions hours are between 5 p.m. and no later than 9 p.m. on weeknights. However, some weekend hours may be needed. There may be day time hours needed on occasion.

Duties and Responsibilities

Update software in both labs weekly.

Oversee and guide the TA I and TA II student employees.

Minimum Qualifications

Mac experience preferred. Strong troubleshooting skills with solid computer skills. Self motivated.
