Technical Assistant II – Communications

This is a "Work Study" position. You must have been awarded work study for the semester that you are applying for. If you do not have work study, please check the links below to find out about the process, timing and eligibility requirements you'd need to determine whether you could receive work study.

The TAII will work in both Communications Labs (CC148 & CC153) helping the Staff Associate and TAIII clear various folders out in the student accounts and cleaning out software files such as dumping old iTunes files, Garageband etc.... You will also refresh software preferences or set preferences in the student accounts.

Skills needed:

*The student must be self motivated and take initiative on tasks for this position. Set a plan and follow through completely with what you have started. If you are the type of individual that can not "self direct" and take initiative, this job may not be for you. This job requires that you are "methodical" in your approach to tasks to insure that each work station has the same files and folders and that all computers in BOTH labs are at the same state.

The positions hours would be on weekdays between 3 p.m. and 9 p.m. However, some weekend hours may be needed. You can work on weekends as well if you choose to.

Minimum Qualifications

*Experience working on Apple computers. Student must be responsible and dependable.
