Student Laptop Repair Technician – ITS, Client Support Services
Assist users with wireless connections, computer hardware/software issues associated with PC and MAC laptops. Greet users, create detailed ticket in call logging system for all service requests. Perform thorough diagnostics and repairs as necessary to recommended Dell laptops. Maintain clean and professional working environment. Provide assistance during First Year/Transfer Orientation sessions including other campus events, and other administrative tasks as necessary.
Strong working knowledge of computer hardware and peripherals (ie, printers). Ability to provide thorough troubleshooting in computer hardware and software applications. Friendly, and respectful. Detail oriented and proficient with online services (Navigator, Email, Canvas, and wireless). Desire to learn or expand on knowledge of hardware and supported software. Ability to maintain scheduled hours. Excellent time management and interpersonal skills.
